Cities Rise Youth Mental Health Advocate
Sara Faraj is a seventeen-year-old mental health activist and youth voice advocate from Sacramento, California. For the past few years, Sara has engaged in projects to improve the mental health of members of her local community and school district. More recently, she has joined CitiesRISE Sacramento's Youth Network, where she works with other youth to design, promote, and facilitate initiatives to educate students nationwide about mental health and find creative solutions to improve mental health throughout their communities. In her free time, Sara likes to study foreign relations, coach students in debate, play soccer, and hang out with friends.
