Emiliana Simon-Thomas, PhD is the Science Director at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center. Trained in neuroscience and social psychology, she oversees research fellowships, directs key science initiatives like "Expanding the Science and Practice of Gratitude", and leads courses and trainings on the Science of Happiness worldwide. Her research focuses on the critical role that prosocial experience and behavior and social connection play in well-being.
