Dr. Rowan Williams

Former Archbishop of Canterbury

Dr. Rowan Williams was the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, confirmed in 2002.  He served for a decade before becoming Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge University, until his retirement in 2019.  He is chair of the development charity, Christian Aid. and the author of numerous books on faith and society, most recently (with Mary Zournazi), Justice and Love: A Philosophical Dialogue. As chair of the trustees of the Inspire Dialogue Foundation, a U.K. charity, he also has been integral to the foundation’s vision to support the human capacity for inclusive listening, connection and non-polarizing engagement.
